The Liberty Dog Network was founded in March 2022 and is a foster-based rescue. We have rescued dogs from various shelters across Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego counties.
Our mission is to help the dogs in the overcrowded shelters have a second chance at having a wonderful life. Shelters across America are euthanizing because they are out of space and the Southern California region is at the top of that list.
LIBERTY
Liberty is around 1 year old and a Husky type dog. She takes some time to trust humans but is the absolute sweetest companion when she does. She has a fondness for toys and doesn't tear them up. She requires consistent exercise and will do best in a home with at least a 5 foot fence and another dog to play with. Liberty is great during car rides and walks well on a leash. She needs to gain
BART
Bart is a male pit bull type dog who has been with the rescue the longest. Bart is around 60 lbs and neutered. He has been to extensive training and ultimately needs to live with someone who is familiar with this breed. He loves his toys, and his people but will have to live as an only dog or with another balanced female. He had a few lumps and bumps removed in December 2023 and the vet report
BUDDHA
Buddha is around 7 years old, neutered, and about 75 pounds. We think he is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. In the summer of 2023 he was rescued from the Devore shelter in San Bernardino County after being put on the dreaded euthanasia list. Buddha is currently in a boarding situation and would love to find his forever home. He gets along with most dogs pending an appropriate introduction, femal
PIPPEN
Pippen is the cutest little white staffy you ever did meet! She is around 1-year old, spayed, loves other dogs, and enjoys chasing squirrels. We think this cutie will do best in a home with a yard and another dog to play with. Pippen will need someone patient and firm in order to help her with her insecurities and build confidence. From what we have seen she is fun-loving, playful, and cuddl
RONDA
Ronda came from the Lancaster shelter in Los Angeles. She is spayed, around 1-2 years old, and according to her foster, has never met anyone she didn't like! This compact girl weighs about 60 lbs, has a healthy appetite and loves going for walks. She can be shy at first with men when inside the home but has proven she can conquer her fears and live comfortably with one.
